We all know how important it is for one’s health to drink water, and we also know that good hydration must start in the morning.
Many people recommend drinking a glass of lukewarm water, with or without a few drops of lemon, before breakfast. This is to hydrate our body, to help the metabolism and to cleanse the body of toxins. But that’s not all.
An American study, published in the Journal of Cerebral Blood Flow & Metabolism, claims that dehydration leads to a reduction in cognitive performance by impairing attention.

In the summertime, the increase in outside temperature causes increased sweating with a consequent loss of fluids and mineral salts that need to be replenished in order to feel good and stay fit. The most important natural supplement, for all living beings, is water.

It has been estimated that, on average, a worker uses only 65% of his or her potential if he or she does not hydrate properly.
The best thing to do, before starting work, is therefore to drink a glass of water and remember to do so several times a day.
